ABOUT THE CLASS

TUE at 9:15 AM - 11:00 AM

September 12, 2023 - May 14, 2024

We will be studying Ruth, Samuel and Ephesians. We will have 3 options for this study:

For Adults:

1.) In person class on Tuesday mornings - Men and Women (not Coed core group)

2.) Online only class on Tuesday mornings - Women only

3.) Online only class on Tuesday evenings - Men and Women (not Coed core group)

For Children:

We will have in person classes for preschool age kids (Infants - 5 years old) on Tuesday mornings. 

Currently Studying: Ruth and Samuel, Ephesians

 The Old Testament books of Ruth and 1 and 2 Samuel describe the faith journeys of men and women like us.  Sure, they may have been prophets or priests, or kings - but they were also sons and daughters, husbands and wives, fathers and mothers.  They struggled in the same ways we do, experiencing deferred hopes and dreams, broken relationships, shameful failures and personal trauma.  What made the difference was how they reacted.  Some took their pain and anger to God and others didn't.  In either case, we will see how God remained faithful.  We will conclude the study with Ephesians - a letter which teaches us how we have been created with meaning and purpose to serve a God who calls us His masterpieces.

 

 

MINISTRIES

Next Gen Ministry

Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, music, games and other activities, we seek to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn about Jesus' wonderful love for them. We also come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live out God’s truths in their lives. We welcome your children to experience the love of Jesus through the loving servants in our CBS Children's Ministry. Our Childrens Program will be in person for children age 6 months to 5 years old.   Parents are welcome to bring infants under 6 months with them into their adult core group.
